DOMS-Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness

DOMS-Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness

Doms is a kind of muscle pain related to sports that is not yet fully found.

In the case of a non-long-lasting exercise performed by a person, the spore is seen as muscle pain that occurs in the muscles used during the spore 1 or 2 days later.

An unusual intensity in the trainers can also be seen when the sport is speed and / or weight. For example, DOMS can be seen in the muscles of the legs 1-2 days later when a runner is trained but rides a race like a high-tempoda semi-marathon or marathon.

DOMS causes muscles to tear at micro level during sports and restructuring muscles to strengthen themselves after tearing.

Scientific research is available to support both. Although tearing and restructuring of the muscles are always part of the sporting process, a pain is felt when the tearing and repairing process is more intense when a sport is made or after a long period of interruption, or when a sport of unusual intensity is made.

Therefore, this pain is part of the sport and it is likely that it will occur in newcomers or when the spore breaks and starts again. For this reason, these aches should not cause a person to get away from the spore.

A few measures that can be taken to get to the front of the DOMS aches:

1. Make the first few exercises light and spaced. This way you will be given the chance to adapt to the body. The load can be increased gradually to keep the DOMS to a minimum.
2. Good warming must be done before training. Warming is an indispensable element that must be part of every workout, except for DOMS.
3. Where DOMS are available, ice or coolant may be applied.
4. DOMS can help you with solutions such as lying on the stool, holding the feet up.
5. Very low-tempo cycling or walking can be beneficial to increase blood circulation.

What if you need training during DOMS? At first I have to decide how necessary this is. If it is not necessary to do this exercise, it may be good to relax until the pain is over. Although there are researches that DOMS pain does not interfere with the benefits of training, there is no efficient training with these paints and it is fixed with the experience of both the sportsmen themselves and the surrounding athletes. If you believe that it is absolutely necessary for you to practice, and if you can do, research is on your side.
